Having used larger franchises to rent bikes on my arrival from the UK for business trips in the USA, Dan was a breath of fresh air. His flexibility to fit in with my schedule and ability to let me ride something that didn’t originate in Milwaukee put him way ahead of the competition. And you don’t see many Kawasaki’s used as a seat where Forrest Gump’s bench used to be….. (Chippewa Square in Savannah, Georgia).

I found Dan’s Motorcycles on a Google search, and the website was impressive. It told me everything I needed to know, but when I needed special help for my customer from Japan, Dan’s personal touch made it easy. Most people take their best customers out for a game of golf, but my customer, Mr. Misaki, loved the 400-mile ride to Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon. We enjoyed the day on your bikes. Both were a lot of fun to ride. It was particularly great to be able to compare back to back the FJR and the Concourse 14, given that I am in the market for a sport touring bike. Anyway, we enjoyed meeting you and your wife and riding some really great bikes.

My wife and I had a GREAT time aboard the FJR as we toured the North Georgia Mountains. Dan was excellent at setting up everything online and greeting us when we arrived to pick up the bike. The Three Musketeers were the real deal ….. They got the “most bugs” award and also took in a lot of twisties as well as making it to the Beach! Thanks to Dan Person of Decatur Georgia, there’s finally a place to rent super sport touring bikes. My brother and I took the FJR 1300 and the Concours out on a one day trip, and, of course, had an incredible riding experience. There are just no equals to this class of bike. Just as important to the success of our ride though, was the rental experience itself. Dan is such a friendly guy, and his laid back style of doing business sets the perfect tone for his no hitches, easy out-easy in rental program. His pristine bikes are all late model sport touring types that are obviously very well maintained and meticulously cared for. Dan is a long time riding enthusiast himself, and the business he has set up reflects that love of the spirited ride! I highly recommend Dan’s Motorcycles as THE place to rent your next bike. My brother and I are hooked!

I rented a bike at very short notice from Dan and was really pleased with absolutely everything. I rode the ST1300 for a total of 470 miles through the most spectacular scenery (Southern Appalachian Mountains). Best day’s riding of my life. Dan was very flexible, letting me turn up at 6:45am in order to get me on the road. He gave me maps, loaned me a cooler jacket, set up Sat Nav and even rode out with me to get me on the main roads down the back route to miss all the traffic. Top man, top bike. I’ll be back!
Thanks Dan – really was an awesome day. Just wish I had someone to share it with – next time!

The motorcycle performed great. Comfortable and the bike was in ran smoother than the one we rented in San Francisco earlier in the month. Next time I think we will explore the Georgia Mountains. Thank you for the ride to the airport and picking us up at our hotel. We plan to come back.
